Yuktha with Lorraine's Students

As a part of her online learning, Yuktha connected with Lorraine Leo's Classroom online. Lorraine teaches as Technology Integration teacher in a private Catholic School in Newton, MA.

Lorraine spoke of her love of music and her friends at Berklee Indian Ensemble..

.. and the leader of the Women of the World, an enterprising music lover from Kerala!

Yuktha now has a role-model - Annette Philip to emulate!

Annette PhilipBerklee, third from left, is a faculty member, vocalist, and pianist, the Berklee Indian Ensemble is the first class associated with the college’s newly established Berklee India Exchange, a platform for cultural conversation about Indian music through artist residencies, musical collaborations, and performances.

Thank you Lorraine for making Kerala proud; you showed us what Women of the World is doing!!

Ambassadors of Lifelong Learning

Joe McNulty is a teacher with a missionary zeal. He walks the talk. I introduced Yuktha to Joe. As Yuktha is to present at Student Technology Conference, she had to connect with students all over the world and learn together, make a slideshow from her connected learning to present at the #stutech2016.

Joe, as usual, was eager to help. He arranged a meet - Yuktha with his students

Joe always blogs about the school interactions to help students learn the benefits of blogging. Thank you Joe for your support.

I introduced Remesh, Yuktha's father to Joe,
  • Parents should oversee what their children do online.
  • Half the world is asleep when the other half is awake.
If we are to globalize our children, school systems alone cannot do that. Hence, I run the largest network of Parents and Teachers, Social Networking Homes. Yuktha's family is very supportive. At the meet with Joe's students, Yuktha had her mother, Sasikala, beside her.

Yuktha at Student Technology Conference

As I attended a Global Education Conference session by school students inviting students all over the world to participate at Student Technology Conference, I promised them - Kerala students shall present at #stutech2016.

At our own presentation at GEC, Dance Teacher Sajimol Sajeev and Advocate Jose vouched to bring Kerala schools to #stutech2016.

Yuktha, 12 years, rose to the challenge! A singer, she understands the language of music; her soulful music connected her with quite a few friends in a very short period of time.

Yuktha became my Co-facilitator at the launch of Responsible Tourism at Thrissur. She even worked as an Online Secretary for me! One must bow in respect of these digital natives! I asked Yuktha and Stefany to speak with students at my Navadarsan Workshop. Connected thus, they are now readying themselves for #stutech2016.

Yuktha, 12 years, An Asset to HLWS Juniors

Yuktha Remesh is a versatile school girl. She is a singer, dancer, musician and a budding Music Therapist, thanks to her mother, a Professional Playback Singer and a Music Therapist.

This mother and daughter is out to win hearts. On the very first day I inducted them to Hello Little World Skypers, they received a warm welcome from Lorraine Leo!

As they shared their musical experiences, Lorraine sent the link of a Berkelee video to thrill Yuktha.

During their discussion, Lorraine told us about her friend at Berklee India Exchange program by Berklee

Sure, Yuktha was on cloud 9!

As Lorraine told them about Women of the World, it was Sreelatha's turn to be awed. Music connected Lorraine and Sreelatha - both deeply interested in the language of the souls.

So nice to know a music lover from Kerala is the visionary at Women of the World!

Since the day she first tasted collaborative learning, Yuktha has become an Ambassador of Online Learning. She is now preparing to present at Student Technology Conference! She will be the very first student from Kerala on such an ed-venture!
